Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to the ValidityCore website, documentation, and — for admitted design partners — the contract validation gateway (the "Service"). By applying to or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance
By accessing the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you're authorized to bind it.
2. Service description
ValidityCore is a contract validation gateway that evaluates requests, responses, and events against versioned schema rulesets you register, and returns structured verdicts. The Service is currently in a design-partner phase and is offered as-is, with no guarantee of general availability, specific features, or timelines.
3. Design Partner Program
Access is granted through the Design Partner Program, which admits organizations in reviewed cohorts on a periodic (approximately bi-weekly) basis. Submitting an application does not entitle you to access. We may decline, defer, or revoke design-partner access at our discretion. Program terms, limits, and pricing are subject to change before general availability.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: exceed published rate limits or circumvent access controls; probe, scan, or load-test the Service without written permission; submit unlawful content for validation; or use the Service to build a competing validation product. We may suspend access for conduct that threatens the Service's integrity or other partners.
5. API tokens & rate limits
Tokens are issued to admitted design partners and are confidential; you're responsible for activity under your tokens. Default limits are 2,000 rps per token and a 2 MB compiled ruleset size, adjustable on the Fleet track. We may throttle or suspend tokens that exceed limits or degrade the Service.
6. Rulesets & your content
You retain all rights to the schemas, rulesets, and payloads you submit. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to operate the Service for you. You're responsible for having the rights to submit that content and for its lawfulness.
7. Validation ledger & retention
The Service records verdict metadata to an append-only ledger with retention determined by your tier (see Privacy). Ledger integrity features are provided as-is and are not a substitute for your own audit and compliance controls.
8. Service levels
During the design-partner phase the Service is provided on a best-effort basis with no contractual SLA. Negotiated availability commitments are available only under a separate Fleet-tier agreement.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. A passing verdict indicates conformance to the ruleset you supplied; it is not a guarantee of correctness, security, or fitness of the underlying data or your application.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ValidityCore is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from use of the Service. During the design-partner phase our aggregate liability is limited to USD $100.
11. Termination
Either party may end participation at any time. On termination your access is disabled and your ledger and rulesets are deleted after a 30-day grace period, unless a longer period is required by law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves toward general availability. Material changes will be communicated to active design partners. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
